Requests for Proposals and Qualifications

The mission of the City of Apalachicola is to maximize the value of public funds in procurement by contracting and managing efficient services, capital equipment, and material investments while providing a compliant, high-quality procurement system that upholds integrity, responsiveness, and fairness. All local entities, especially Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran's Business Enterprise (VBE) are encouraged to apply and register with MyFloridaMarket Place Vendor Information Portal.

Request for Proposals are formal solicitation documents used by the City of Apalachicola to invite vendors to bid on projects, services, or goods to ensure a fair and competitive bidding process.

Request for Qualifications are procurement documents used by the City of Apalachicola to shortlist vendors, contractors, and consultants based on their experience, expertise, and capability rather than price. The RFQ will allow the City to select firms on an as-needed basis through continuing service agreements for qualified firms.
