Listening Session
November 17 @ 6:00 pm
- This event has passed.
The City of Apalachicola would like to host a City-wide listening session where the City Manager, Chuck Anderson, and other City Representatives will meet with residents to hear their thoughts, concerns, and ideas on local issues. This is an informal, dialogue-focused event designed to be a safe space for genuine conversation. The goal is for the new City Manager to gather feedback to better understand the community’s needs and challenges, which will be used to shape future policies and improve city services. Residents can provide valuable, lived-experiences information about specific city services, and help identify areas needing immediate attention. The Commissioners will be attending as well.
Why is the City hosting Listening Sessions?
We would like the residents to share their personal experiences, ideas, and give feedback in a welcoming, accessible environment. The City has new staff and we would like to find out what is working well, what needs improvement, and the key issues residents are facing.
Insights gathered will help the City leaders determine which challenges and opportunities should be prioritized, ensuring that policies and initiatives align with what residents care about.
