Strategic Visioning

The City of Apalachicola will be hosting a community stakeholder focus group as part of the Commissions Strategic Visioning initiative. The stakeholder group will meet on June 17th and 18th at the Commission Chambers from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the meeting will be facilitated by Charles Champan from C4 Strategies. This is an open public meeting; however, there will be no opportunity for public comment or participation. Over the course of the two-days, the focus group will participate in a city centric SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, threat) analysis and development of SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timely) goals for presentation to the Commission in July. Upon approval of the goals, C4 Strategies will work with the City Manager to develop objectives to achieve the goals. Final adoption of the plan, goals, and objectives is tentatively scheduled for the end of July.
