City offices will be closed this Friday, April 18th, in observance of Good Friday.
DUKE ENERGY is in process of undertaking vegetation clearing within the City of Apalachicola service area. The map linked here references the “Feeder” line network (shown in black) and the “Lateral” lines (shown in red, blue, and green) where the vegetation clearing will take place. The Laterals are being cleared currently, followed by the Feeder lines. This work is anticipated to be completed within the next two months.
On April 11th, 2025 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm the City of Apalachicola will be conducting a Q & A on the Fair Housing Act at the Holy Family senior center in Apalachicola. All are welcome to attend.

The City of Apalachicola will host a workshop on Tuesday, April 8 at 5 pm to review updates to its 2017 Vulnerability Analysis (VA). The workshop will cover the updated findings from storm surge models. Based on and will identify vulnerable critical assets in the City and prioritizing areas and assets for protection from potential future storm events. The draft report is available to review online…
On March, 28th 2025 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm the City of Apalachicola will be conducting a Q & A on the Fair Housing Act at the Holy Family senior center in Apalachicola. All are welcome to attend.
Due to a delay in sending out the water bills this month, bills will be due on March 20th, and the 10% penalty will be waived.
